Grunt Birthday Party

If you manage to get a headshot on a Grunt, the Grunt will explode.
Where to find: Crow's Nest
How to find: Right after the first objective, while en route to the barracks, you will fall down onto a pipe. At the end of this pipe, look over the edge to see a small space a few feet below you. You must simply drop over and as quicly as you can, pull back to land under the floor you were just on. After that, the skull will be at the end.
Black-Eye Skull
Effect: Melee hits instantly recharges your shield.
Where to find: Crow's Nest
How to find: As soon as you start the level, head straight up to the higher level. Head toward the door with the red light, then turn around. Jump onto the racks, onto the red metal light holders, then onto the ventilation tube. The skull will spawn at the end.
Blind Skull
Description: "Shoot from the hip"
Stage: First Stage
How To Find: When you get to the area where you see the Phantom overhead (one of the marines will point it out) jump over the rocks and keep following the path on the right. When you get to the cliff there will be a rock over of the side. The skull is on the end of the rock.
Note: This skull has to be Activated before you start a Campaign map.
Iron Skull
Effect: When either player dies in Co-Op on any difficulty both players will restart at last check point.
Where to Find: Spartan 117
How to find: In the area where you rescue Sarge, behind the prison cell is a large ledge. Got to the far right side and jump on the boxes, then onto the pipes to get up on the ledge, goto the far end of the ledge, turning two corners the skull is at the far end.
Tough Luck Skull
Effect: Enemies do saving throws
Where to find: Tsavo Highway
On Tsavo Highway, about halfway through the mission (right after you are forced to walk through a large blue barrier), you will come out of a tunnel on the highway, and see a large pipeline on your left. Drop down in between the two, and run to the wall in front of you. Follow the wall all the way to where it connects with the cliff on your right, and turn to the left. There should be a few ledges--simply crouch jump from ledge to ledge, and the last one should have the "Tough Luck" skull on it.
Mythic Skull
Effect: Every enemy on the field now has double their normal amount of health.
Where to find: Halo
How to find: As soon as the mission starts walk up the hill in front of you and into the cave. Hug the right side of the cave and after a large boulder you will see a path on your right, just take the short path and it will be at the end.
Cowbell Skull
Effect: Explosive force increased (sputnik from H2)
Level: The Ark
Location: First pick up a grav lift from the small building near where you fight the scarab. Now proceed through the level until you reach the second sloping hallway (stairway), you should see some partitioned risers (platforms) halfway down. The skull is on the top level. Toss the grav-lift on the right side of the hall so it lands on the fourth little green dot from the door. Then run, jump, and use the grav-lift to propel you to the top. You should reach a ckeckpoint just as you enter the room so it you miss just try again.
Thunderstorm Skull
Mission: The Covenant
Effect: "Field promotions for everyone!" -- Upgrades enemies to their stronger versions.
After you shut down tower 1 and get access to the hornet, fly to tower 2 (the one the arbiter shut down). While walking up the stairs, go to the middle part that connects both and there should be a stair leading up to a platform where the skull is.
The 7 Terminals
The Ark:
1. Start the mission and once you enter the first building take a left into another door and now you should be in a curved corridor. On the inside is a Terminal.
2. After activating the bridge to let your comrades accross the gap, do a 180 and you should see it. (it does not open until you activate the bridge)
3. In the third building after defeating the scarab, kill the group of sleeping covenant, then follow the corridor downwards. Once you reach a door in front that is locked, immediately on the left there's an open door. Go through and walk straight off, then do a 180 to find a secret room. It is in there.
The Covenant:
1. When in the first tower standing on the lift, face the access panel and turn left. Jump over and it's right there.
2. Land your hornet on the second tower, walk towards the entrance but when you see the locked door, do a 180. Should be right in front of you.
3. When in the third tower standing on the lift, face the access panel and turn right. Jump over and it's right there.
Halo:
1. After reaching the end of the first cave, hug the right wall and you will see a building. Jump up onto the walkway and hang a left once inside. It's right there.
Catch Skull
Mission: The Storm
Effect: "Pull pin. Count to three. Throw." -- Every NPC carries two grenades and throws them often.
You can get this by performing a grenade jump off a warthog, or grab a ghost and go back to the ramp from which you first came out, using the ghost to push a big square crate back over to the front of the silo pod that the skull is on top of, then use the box as a place to jump from.
Fog Skull
Mission: Floodgate
Effect: "You’ll miss those eyes in the back of your head." -- Your motion sensor disappears.
As you are walking down from the anti-air gun you destroyed in the previous mission, you encounter a ramp (next to a missile launcher). Around this ramp, you hit a checkpoint. At this point, you should also hear a marine yelling, “There! Over There!”. Look up and to the right, directly at the roof of the building next to the missle launcher. There is a single flood form (not to be mistaken with the two other flood forms jumping in front of you) which is holding the skull. Kill him before he jumps, and he will drop the skull down to the ground where you can retrieve it. Too early, and the skull will get stuck on the roof though, so just time it carefully.
Famine Skull
Mission: The Ark
Effect: "Trust us. Bring a magazine." -- Dropped weapons will have very little ammo compared to normal.
When you first go into the valley to the right after the wrecked phantom, look to your left where you will see a huge boulder. Use a ghost and get to the side of the boulder that is closest to the bridge overhead. It is easy to pilot the ghost up the side of the wall using the thrust. To get the skull, pilot 2 ghosts up the wall to the top of the bridge and stack them one on top of another next to the beam where the skull is placed. Simply jump from the top of the ghosts towards the skull and land on the beam.
Tilt Skull
Mission: Cortana
Effect: "What was once resistant is now immunity" -- Enemies have different body parts that may be resistance to certain bullet types
When in the circular type room with all the flood look for a small structure piece next to two archways, jump on top if it and up on the rocks to the top left, turn left and jump up again, then do a 180 and jump to the rocks across from you. After that follow the the rock sticking out and leading up on top of of the original circular room, the skull will be in a pile of blood.
Halo 3 Unlockable: Special Ending
your query letter is your first step to getting your novel published. A good query letter catches the agent's attention and is the first step in how to get a novel published. What should be included in your query letter?
The first paragraph should be a brief synopsis of your novel. No more than 100 words, perhaps 150 words. This synopsis is written in the present tense. You want to hook the agent's curiosity to read more. It's a challenge to condense a 100,000 novel down to 150 words, but important you do. Think of the synopsis as a back cover blurb. It gives just enough information to create excitement about the novel. If you need some examples go to the bookstore and look at the back cover blurbs of books in the same genre as yours.
The second paragraph describes the market for your novel and includes the genre. Are you aiming for romance readers, cozy mystery readers or is your book a young adult novel? You can compare your book to other similar books, saying something like "readers of Sandra Brown will enjoy TITLE OF YOUR BOOK. Mention the word count and that the novel is completed.
The third paragraph includes your background as a writer and a brief bio. If you have writing credits make sure you mention them. Many agents don't consider a vanity/subsidy book or self-published book as a writing credit. If you include the title they will look it up on amazon.com to see who the publisher is.
The third paragraph is where you can describe any special experience you have that could become a publicity hook or gives you an insight other writers might not have. For example if you are a pastry chef and your heroine is also a pastry chef that would be relevant.
End the letter by thanking the agent for their time and consideration and asking if they would like to see the first few chapters or a completed manuscript. The purpose of the query letter is to motivate the agent to ask for the manuscript.
The query letter should be no more than one page single spaced. You could also include a 2 or 3 page synopsis of your novel, but don't include the first chapter or the entire manuscript.

As for cooking, I thought you might care for an update. Unfortunately, I don't have pretty pictures for you this time, but I am happy to report that all is going swimmingly on the cooking front. My mashed potatoes are so creamy, my barbecue chicken is quite tasty, my hearty cheese soup is yummy-beyond-words, and my chicken rice broccoli casserole is, in my roommate's words, "comfort food." (10 brownie points to the reader who can spot the movie quote in the previous sentence.) I also make pretty good honey currant scones...not to mention pear tart...and if all else fails, my Jell-O instant pudding is a hit. Of course, there have been days (okay, just one) when Little Caesar's has cooked for me, but other nights when I have produced tacos a la my sister-in-law.

We both got hung up with a bunch of family matters (Kevin much more so than me but he can tell you about that himself if he wants) and with the holidays and all...you get the picture. Life has just been really busy.
Fear not though, gentle reader. Meet Doug is about halfway finished and with the holidays behind us and all that other nonsense, we should be able to reapply ourselves to the task at hand: finish that sumnabitch up. As a gesture of good faith though, I'll try to get the intro scene(s) posted by the end of the week. HURRAY! I know I've said that before but you can trust me this time.

Yay i didn't mention my legs and he never looked that good the night before i cut myself shaving. I liked see the blood but then of course i had a panic attack cause all i need was him to see a fresh cut and think i was cutting which i haven't in a wile i sill haven't thrown my razor blades away but i haven't used them so thats good. of coarse school starters on Monday. If i manage to make it though the next 3 years with out killing myself i might be normal one day. I bought thicker than water which is one of my favorite books its about a girl who cuts her self and then she joins this vampire club cult thing its really good. I also bought Prozac nation i don't know why the first time i read it was like 368 pages of complain and her therapists where fucking stupid.
Well talk about much ado about nothing. All of the 'big' names in the report were people that already had linked to steroids. People seemed shocked about The Rocket, but come on, the guy bulked up like Bonds did, and got better at age 38. Pettite was his closest friend, not too shocking again.
I can't find the outrage over this like some people are. If I could take something to improve my performance at work that could make me millions and it wasn't against company policy, I would definitely consider it and probably would do it. Baseball is to blame for this, not as much the players.
This should in no way be considered the only list of players who did steroids, its just who they happened to have evidence, because guys were dumb enough to write checks. That said, I was very glad not to see Chipper, Smoltz or Maddux in there.
I am glad now that people will look at Clemens differently, couldn't have happened to a bigger dickwad. Hopefully everyone will recognize that Greg Maddux is the best pitcher of our generation, not that chemically altered jackass The Rocket.
I hope the Superdome has a large maintenance crew to clean all of the blood spilled on the field last night by Hawaii. Why anyone was concerned or thought we wouldn't kill that joke of a team is beyond me. Reference my last post on Dec. 15th which was entirely accurate except no pick-six, but that fumble recovery in the end zone was close enough.
That being said, the whole problem with last night is that there are probably 20+ teams that are easily better than Hawaii. Small schools and small conferences do not produce the same caliber football, period. Rewarding teams who play weak schedules in weak conferences is socialism and I'm not a socialist. Missouri is the first team that pops in my head of a team that clearly deserved to be in the BCS instead of Hawaii (they are more deserving than Kansas too but oh well). Line Hawaii up on their best day against Arkansas and at best they may squeak out a win. Not to say Missouri is anything special, the point is that Hawaii isn't very good so although it is great to get the national recognition for the Sugar Bowl win---it really doesn't mean all that much. Sure it may help with next year's pre-season rankings, but does it validate UGA as a great football team? NO. We beat a physically inferior opponent into the turf and shouldn't have expected anything less.
I just pray that should UGA be fortunate enough to continue to frequent the BCS that we will somehow be able to avoid playing these 'trap-games' against BS teams. I couldn't care less if all the Boise State's and Hawaii's of the world never get another chance in the BCS b/c they will never, ever deserve it. But it won't happen b/c clearly we have democrats running the BCS who actually listen to the 'little-guys' irrational whining of "It's Not Fair!".
And finally, just looking at Urban Meyer makes me angry. If anyone knows how I could arrange to get locked in a room with him so I could exact some punishment upon him for being such a douchebag, please let me know.
I'm heading to my native California for a three week vacation with my two sons and granddaughter. I will also check in with a favorite cousin and my sister.
Retired employees at the police department where I was once employed will be getting together for lunch to catch up as well.

Hair loss is something that affects thousands of men and woman every day. Often times we feel helpless because we feel like there’s nothing that can be done. Since women with alopecia areata are not sick at all, the body system does not find any necessity to produce compromising immune system for these attacks. Topical ointments and injectable steroidal solutions to reduce inflammation and synthesize the scalp are very effective solution to this particular problem; when applied regularly over a specific period of time, these applications send electric signals to the immune system to trigger it to allow hair to grow back in those bald patches.
Telogen effluvium is shedding of hair at the stage when it is already fully developed. This is not genetic in nature of origin; this occurs when there is massive thyroid imbalance caused by a lot of factors, including chronic illnesses like cancer, diseased liver, common physical and emotional stress. This type of falling hair could also occur as a side effect of drastic treatments to combat the aforesaid chronic diseases, like chemotherapy, cobalt radiation, oral contraceptives, heart pills and other medications intended to correct the thyroidal imbalance. For solutions to this type of hair loss, women need to find the cause of its occurrence. Other topical or injectable steroidal treatment are very seldom necessary - when the diseased organs are properly addressed and eventually treated, the hair grows back as effusively as before, sometimes even more luxuriously.

Nearly 2% of the U.S. population will develop alopecia in their lifetime. Alopecia areata affects both males and females. Causes
Alopecia is not contagious. It is an autoimmune disease in which the body’s immune system attacks itself, in this case, the hair follicles. Alopecia areata may occur in more than one member of the family, and such families may develop other autoimmune diseases such as pernicious anaemia and vitiligo. It is also more common in patients with chromosomal disorders such as Down syndrome.
Symptoms
The primary symptom of alopecia areata is roundish patches of hair loss on the head, with smooth, hairless scalp in the affected areas. In rare cases, alopecia areata can progress to complete loss of hair on the head (alopecia areata totalis) or complete loss of hair on the head, face, and body (alopecia areata universalis). Alopecia areata is associated with nail changes including pinpoint pits, ridging, roughening and loss of shine.
Treatment
Treatment depends on the extent of the disease, and also the age of the patient. For small patchy disease, intralesional steroid injections (Kenalog(r)) are the best approach. This is injected with a tiny needle directly into the patches on the scalp with injections spread over affected areas. Injections are repeated every 4 to 6 weeks. As with many chronic disorders for which there is no single treatment, a variety of remedies are promoted which in fact have no benefit.
Corticosteroids are powerful anti-inflammatory drugs similar to a hormone called cortisol produced in the body. Corticosteroids can be given orally or via local injections.
Falling of hair is from general debility. Fluoric acid is good for this illness. As near specific as is possible. Arsenicum. Bald spots near the forehead; the scalp is covered with dry scales. Vinca minor is also use for falling of the hair with great itching of the scalp.
Dithranol is thought to be less effective than topical immunotherapy, but works in some cases. It is applied each day to the whole scalp if there is extensive hair loss and left for 20-60 minutes before washing it off.
Many women in the world suffer from thinning hair, which is a natural phenomenon and often increases with advancing age.
There are many reasons for thinning hair in women. Many health conditions like thyroid disease, substantial weight loss or gain, stress, anemia and some infection of the scalp can cause thinning of hair. Hormonal changes during pregnancy and menopause are also responsible for thinning hair in women.
